Hard Work. Real Impact. Indian Country.
Sovereignty Construction is a Native-owned general contractor building housing, community facilities, and infrastructure across Indian Country. We go where the work is hardest, and we finish what we start. If that’s the kind of work you want your name on, you’re in the right place.
HOW WE WORK
Who You’d Be Joining
We started Sovereignty because our own community needed a builder it could trust, and no one else would show up. So we did. We self-performed, we problem-solved, and we built the facilities our people needed on our own sovereign land.
When you join Sovereignty, you’re not just taking a job. You’re helping strengthen Indian Country through work that advances Tribal sovereignty, economic growth, and self-determination, one project, one community, one home at a time.
OUR PURPOSE
To strengthen Indian Country through construction.
We take on the remote sites, the tight timelines, and the projects others pass on, and we deliver them with discipline and pride. That mission only works because of the people behind it. The next one could be you.
Our Core Values
These five values aren’t a poster on the wall. They’re the standard we hire, work, and promote by.
Sovereignty.
We operate with full autonomy and ethical responsibility, and we respect the sovereign nations and communities we serve. We listen before we build.
Adaptable
Grit.
Attitude.
Performance.
WHAT WE EXPECT
What This Looks Like Day-to-Day
When plans change, you pivot quickly and keep the job moving.
You communicate early, clearly, and directly.
You love to solve problems, not create them.
You take ownership of problems until they’re solved.
You do what you say you’ll do.
You want to help.
If you read that list and thought “that’s just how I work,” we should talk.
WHY SOVEREIGNTY

We run on EOS/Traction, so you’ll always know the goals, your role, and how your work moves the company forward.
Purpose.
Work that strengthens Indian Country and leaves a legacy you can point to.
Field support.
Per diem, travel, lodging, and tools/PPE for traveling field roles.
Competitive pay.
Fair, market-rate wages.
Time to recharge.
Paid time off, California paid sick leave, and bereavement leave, in line with our handbook and state law.
Health and wellbeing.
Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Who Thrives Here
They want their work to mean something beyond the paycheck.
They take ownership without being asked twice.
They want to grow with a company that’s scaling, not stalling.
They’re comfortable in rural, remote, and changing conditions.
They’d rather solve it than complain about it.
Experience matters, but attitude and grit matter more. We can teach a process. We can’t teach character.
Grow with us
Where we’re Headed
We’re not standing still. Sovereignty is licensed across California, Alaska, and Montana, pursuing SBA 8(a) certification, and building toward becoming the go-to builder in Indian Country. Getting in now means growing with us: more projects, more responsibility, and more opportunity as we grow to meet the demand.
